    Short Term? Stocks?

I don't think those words can be in the same sentence! :rotfl:

    I meant this.

Short term in the stock market scenario is defined as the immediate 1 or 2 trading days. Short term stock picks are securities that will trade well in the immediate future. The easiest way to reap maximum profits in the stock market is to identify stocks with momentum and invest in them wisely. The best short term stock picks have been seen to rise more than 10 % within a single day. For an investor to hazard a guess regarding short stock picks is much like a game of chance. It is better to take the advice of expert stock analysts on this matter.

Good luck with that, these are presumably the same analysts that are getting paid by the companies they recommend; if the experts are that good, particularly over a couple of days then why advise others and trade with your own money as an expert.

According to the experts underwriting Facebook they were an excellent buy at IPO last week.

If its a sure fire winner why would anyone share that info unless they already hold the share and want to ramp it?
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

I suspect you'll also find a bit of a ramping effect with that strategy - everyone wanting a quick buck will chase the stocks, they will become overinflated, then adjust to correct. There is no such thing as sure-fire free money.

Short term everything is quite cheap to buy at the moment.

Depends what you mean because short term sell on the other hand Ive no great confidence any stock will be much higher.

I read Questor for tips, not sure anyone else is as consistent. Alot of tips come from people who have a relation to the stock which makes the opinion questionable if not the information especially with exploration companies where they project potential resources, costs and final business worth.

Short term alot of company stock is worthless - they are making no profit at all.

Long term profitable business out there is being sold very short in general, the whole world rates debt and government debt very highly.
eg. I know KAZ has problems, declining yields even but why is it valued at 2 years earnings when long term they have massive assets, short term who knows

The people who you want to follow buying probably wont tell until forced under disclosure laws. Buffet reports every 3 months, check where he likes?
