Santander: Premier to 123 Account switching.

After another rate increase from £10 to £20 per month for using my £500 overdraft I was offered an upgrade to switch accounts from my premier to a 123 account. The 123 account just charges £2 per month and came with a free overdraft for the first three months. I did this to initially save me a few quid but also because I wanted sometime to actually repay the overdraft and get my account in credit. Today though I received a letter stating that my overdraft facility has been removed leaving me with an unauthorised overdraft which now stands at £490. I shudder to think what the charges are going to be but I just can't pay it now... Santander have conned me and have refused to switch me back to my original account!

Are you sure that the free overdraft facility on the 123 CA is available to those transferring from an existing account? Or is it just for new customers?
This:

refers to the free overdraft but this (for existing customers) does not:

Do you need to apply for an Authorised Overdraft on the new account.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0
