It's always good to hear that someone has received their DLA award with no problems. That's one less thing for you to worry about0

Glad for you.0

He won't be 16 by October 2013 will he?
Let's hope not. Otherwise he will be in line for re-assessment under PIP which is using much stricter criteria!!!
My son will be 16 in April 2014, so will have a reassessment under PIP. He has been on an indefinite award since he was 8, HRC and HRM. I'm not worrying about it just yet - I have too much else to worry about!
Even when he is reassessed, I'll try not to worry (easier said than done, though!). His care needs are numerous, and he uses a wheelchair outside due to severe pain in his limbs and also breathing difficulties. He has learning difficulties and cannot easily make 10p if given several coins to choose from (but is quite good at reading), and he has a number of physical disabilities as well.
