Santander 123 Current Account £24 waived?

Has anyone had the Santander 123 current account fee of £24 waived because they've got the 123 credit card as well?
I'm sure I read somewhere that someone had, but cant find it on the search

Yes, but it's the card fee that's waived. In year 1 only.0 -
I've got the CC already, but if I can get the current account with the fee waived then it's a no brainer0

Well, it's a no-brainer if a) you're happy with Santander operating your main current account and b) come year 2, you'd still be happy even with paying the fees (or be willing to switch accounts again).0
