Centre parcs longleat nearby restaurants outside complex & what cooking gear in lodge

As the complex restaurants I've read are over priced and not so good, any near by ones?

Also what's in the kitchen of lodges, pans (types and number of them), dishes etc? Is it microwave, oven, hob electric or gas?

Hey Advise_please,
I live about 15 mins from Longleat and there inst really a lot else in the area unless you venture into Frome or Warminster which are about 10-15 mins drive away. Alternatively you could drive to Trowbridge 20/25 mins away which has many good shops and food outlets chains etc.It all depends what you are looking for. All towns have local pubs but lack chains eg Pizza express/nandos etc

The lodges have fully equipped kitchens so you can easily cook 'at home'. We usually stay for a 3 night weekend break and take a couple of frozen or ready prepared meals such as lasagne or macaroni cheese & treat oursleves to dinner out one night.

Sorry for hijacking the threas, do the kitches have a freezer as well, or just a fridge? The literature only mentions a fridge.
