    I'm with the above, unless the mechanic is going out the back and making the pads, I wouldn't worry. Sometimes ALL pads need a good slathering of copper-grease to make them not rattle so much (more than the usual smear.)

    9/10 "poor fitting" brake pad faults I get from people who "bought cheap pads, now having issues" bring to me is because they didn't clean the hub up, and the disc is skewed by a nice layer of crap between it, and the hub face.
