Car insurance renewal

Can anyone help? I have found on comparison sites a cheaper quote with my current provider than my renewal price. Can i take this out as a new policy even though its the same company and i would need to send them my no claims proof???

I dont think you will need to send them proof of your NCB.

The reason I say this is that for a few years I used the comparisson sites to get quotes and on moving from Budget insurance to Autotrader insurance - who are both owned by the same company - BISL , I was told that proof of my NCB was not required. Presumably because they already knew the info as I had been insured with them the previous year.

This year , on moving to the AA I was asked to forward a copy of my last renewal notice showing my NCB.

As your staying within the same company I dont think you will be asked.
The loopy one has gone :j
