Pregnant dog

My ridgeback is 59days pregnant. Has anyone one any advise how to keep her cool, obviously I can't do the sprinkle her with cold water as the temp change wouldn't be good for the pups. I'm also concerned as it's so hot how will I know if the heavy panting is labour or shes just to hot? I've had litters before but not off this dog, and I'm really nervous about her going into labour, I'm not quite sure why. She's off her food not sure if thats the heat or labour signs, or its just because she's quite big that she has no room to eat. Not sure how to post a pic of her size

What about a fan? if you just place it somewhere she can move in the path of it and out on her own accord

Poor girl......in this heat. All I can think of that you may have at hand iss a fan, then she can choose when she wants to be near it.
Good luck with pups and mum.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
They look fab gettingready. Unfortunatly its a bit pricey for me, and it would probably get destroyed. I've had to resort to asda's own quilts, as beds do not last long in this house.
Thanks I think I'm gonna need lots of luck. Not sure how I'm going to know when newborn pups are to hot.
Can you see my photo? as its just showin as a box with a x in it. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.0 -
