Yey ! so we completed yesterday, although late in the day ! only getting keys after 3pm after removal men having packed up the van at 12 and just sat twiddling thumbs (getting paid hourly
! but never mind at least were in. :j
My final question is, my sol would have cleared my old mortgage with nram obviously yesterday, i didn't no the exact redemption figure as think it only came through from them yesterday. But my old direct debit is due next week - am i ok to cancel this ? Im assuming the mortgage is 100% cleared and i owe nothing more as my sol wouldnt have left an open balance with them and started my new mortgage ?
Thanks

Cancel it but call them up in the week just to ensure it has all been cleared in full and ask for a letter to your new address to confirm it- last thing you want is a shortfall going on you credit report and not knowing about it.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Always get a fixed price for the job.
Once I didn't the keys until 4.45. Then had a 30 minute drive to the property. So the crew didn't get away till late. All part of the job to them.0
