The first one, an easy one:

1. I was the named driver on my wifes policy between 2009-2010 and had an accident in 2010. I am now the main driver of a new vehicle and my wife is the named driver.

When retrieving a quote for the new vehicle, under whose section should I register the accident? Mine, Hers or Both?

2. The incident details surrounding the accident in 2010 - I accidentally left the handbrake off whilst parked on a multi-storey car park. About 30 mins later, the car started rolling back, picked up some momentum and crashed into a pillar resulting in a write-off.

There are two options for me to select from the drop-down menu when registering this claim on a quote form:

a) You hit third party vehicle/object - CLAIM MADE
b) Accident - Partial Blame - CLAIM MADE

Which is the appropriate one to select for the incident described?

Thanks,

Accidents apply to individuals. The forms allow you to enter claims for all named drivers.

As no one else was involved it can only be A. B refers to an accident with a third party and no one is deemed 100% at fault, so fault is shared.
