I know some people in the monthly supermarket challenge were looking for a good deal on these;I got one today, it seems quite solid...now I just need some recipes.

Could you give me an idea what these look like please i.e. are they stainless steel or pottery like?

It's quite big; cream coloured metal on outside and big cream pottery dish inside with clear glass lid, at a guess I think it's about 5 pints. Three heat settings but I haven't used it yet so not sure how well it works.

I bought one from Argos which sounds similar but is smaller. It was £7.99 :j

edited to add, its great and because its up and down rather than oval I find it takes up less room in my kitchen. I have, however, still managed to do a chicken in it.
