Is it usually more expensive to book a holiday at the weekend?

Quick question: Is it usually more expensive to book a holiday at the weekend?

We are about ready to book our holiday (not that we've decided where we are going yet!) and would like to book sooner rather than later... but don't want to unneccesarily pay more just because I go to a travel agent on a Saturday or Sunday!
I enjoy a pint of beer each night for it's health benefits. The other pints are for my witty comebacks and flawless dance moves.

I read a post on here that suggested that prices do go up at the weekend and drop midweek. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me will be along soon, but I'd wait a few days if you can.

It's usually Monday night just going into Tuesday a.m. that new seats on flights/offers become availabe online. :)

Its not normally dearer to book at a weekend often there's promotions on. Our weeks targets start on a sunday and finish saturday, so you could probably get a better deal at the weekend, saturday to finish the week well and sunday to get off to a good start.

It's all based on supply and demand - nothing to do with the day of the week.
