To Combi or not to Combi?

Just bought another bungalow as,I hope, our last move and final home. Complete renovation job but as I've been out of the re-furb trade for a few years would like some views on new Boilers. Are Combi's any better now as they used to always be playing up? I want to site it in the roof space, plenty of head height . All pipeworkl/rads etc will be replaced. The bad news is concrete floors and I hate any pipework showing.

Combi's are a lot better than they were years ago, but will still not suit all types of installation and uses.

How many bathrooms/showers etc are you planning to end up with, and what is the water pressure and flow rate like at the property?
