European motoring

I made one of these thingys for European motoring. The idea is that you print it out and adapt it if needed (this bit is tricky to understand because you have not seen it yet) to show the foreign rozzers that you understand their little requirements and have the bits you need. (I take it that you have them)
You can cross out the items or ticks with a black felt tipped pen as it's on a black background if they don't apply and then print it out. A friend said it was a good idea so here it is (mind you I think he was pis*ed)
(I DID IT IT'S MY COPYRIGHT BUT FEEL FREE TO USE IT AT NO CHARGE IF YOU LIKE RYANAIR) signed Bob the Saver
The idea is that it should fit in a 2nd standard UK 'tax disc holder' if your printer is set up right.
Obviously if you don't think it's not a good idea please ignore this post (like so many of my others - you b*stards). It works for me because pointing at something and speaking very loudly in English usually does work with Johnny Foreigner. The item on the left by the way is an NF alcohol breath tester for France. The ticks indicate the quantity so black out any that don't apply.
Obviously these items should be reasonably to hand but especially if you have a soft top like me you don't leave them on display

PS. I seem to have posted a picture on MSE for the first time (if you can see what I see) will someone please tell me how I did it, obviously I'll get banned within hours when I learn how but it's been nice knowing you.
PPS. If you have an older vehicle or are planning a longer trip check out ASDA Breakdown's European cover as a replacement for your normal breakdown cover,

I have two, so two ticks (so there!) These are what I carry as a minimum but I am not giving country specific advice, I don't think they can sue you it's just an aid to point at to keep the police happy(er) especially if they are speaking foreign.
You can of course totally unload the car to find where you packed these items and then show them the real thing but this MIGHT just save you the effort.
And yes I do have beam deflectors on both headlights.0
