Faulty laptop keyboard-replace?

Advice please- my keyboard has had it, it types some and not other letters and numbers and adds many more. it's incredibly time consuming to use

ive had external keyboards but no joy for various reasons

how bobbins is that ?

so should i purchase an acer keyboard and fit it myself? or is the laptop knackered?

give it some palm pressure aroud the j 6 8 numlock keys.

does it do it in safe mode

had any spillages?

reseat the keyboard ribbon cable.

I picked up a new keyboard for about £11 on ebay for my Acer and it was easy to fit after searching Youtube etc - don't write off the laptop yet. Just be carefull when prising the plastic covers off and with the keyboard ribbon retainer.
