Hi,
My fence looks abit worn out and i need to stain it?
Im thinking of getting some of Ronseal Fencelife. Is it a simple case of using a brush and paint over the fence with it?

Yes
good stuff fencelife , but be warned it is quite thin liquid and drips off the brush easily
But it does cover well :T0 -
Morrisons were doing a great deal on ronseal fencelife where the 5l bottles of the sprayable one were £3.50 and the sprayers were £7.50. I picked up a couple of bottles but they had sold out by the time I went back to get more for my fence and aren't getting more in but it might be worth trying your local morrisons.
I have been looking for the cheapest place to get it and screwfix have come out tops at around £9ish for the 5l sprayable. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
If your fence has a neighbour the other side who you are friendly with, it might be as well to suggest he/she does their side in the same colour. Only the fence stuff is quite liquid and unless you have a top quality fence, is likely to seep through to the other side. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
If the panels are in slotted posts I found it far better taking the panels out and lying them flat to slop it on ... the stuff is so thin it goes everywhere except the panel.0
