Thats about it!
Had my PIN and i'm now up and running.
I got the 3% as the bonus for the first year, so is anyone else with them?
I've read mostly good reviews so I am quietly confident there will be no problems!

I had a huge amount saved with them a few years ago when they paid a decent rate, once they had a lot of customers they reduced the rates and upset a lot of savers, I shifted all but £7 away from them along with many other savers, at the time it was said that £4.5Bn was moved out in a very short time!
Now they only offer decent rates to news customers. (for a while!)0 -

Yes I think its a 2.5% bonus rate for a year, so they are good for a year!SwagBucks Challenge: 402/849

I was with them for two periods while the bonuses lasted. (6 months in between without any account to become a "new" customer again). I found their service very satisfactory.
Those of a nervous disposition may wish to avoid as they are not FSCS guaranteed. If the € drops in value against the £ those with very large balances may need to bear in mind that the Dutch guarantee is for the equivalent of €100,000 which will not be for as many £ as it used to be.0 -
I used to deal with ING.
Then i got my fingers burned with Icesave and had to wait months for money to be repaid.
I then decided i would only deal with UK backed institutions.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -

I did even worse and completely emptied an account but didn't actually close it (i.e. left a balance of zero) and they still wouldn't let me have their bonus rate.0 -
Keeping £7 pounds with them is a mistake as it prevents you from being a "New customer" if you want to take advantage of one of their 12 month bonus rate offers, which tend to be very good.
Very true but I don't think I would consider banking with them again. I had a scare with Icesave too and felt we were lucky the UK government backed us.
The so-called passport scheme sounds fine but if you meoney is guaranteed by a foreign government are they not going to look after their own country-folk first in the event of a crisis.
How many of us would feel confident that we would get our cash back if it was guaranteed by the Greek government for example?0 -

One of the Icelandic banks that went bust with the whole country. I had money in Kaupthing and actually was better off than alternatives, the high rate was paid until the savings elements was taken over by ing so a net benficiAry. This wasn't the isle of man part of course.0
