I suggest you complain to L&G and see what happens.

Do you have their contact details, I have been trying to get in touch with them to accept for over a year, but my letter never arrived, and I just go through in loop on their awful system, I can't recall the dept name for this.... i cant find the original first letter i received from them. Nightmare!

Hardly difficult.

According to their website, the address is online.complaints@landg.com

That would mean a complaint this evening is deemed to have arrived tomorrow morning and the eight weeks to respond starts.
