You need one that has been designed for outdoor use and I wouldnt buy one without the circuit breaker. The Argos one is perfect but it is a little expensive, even at the reduced price. Go Outdoors have one for £40 and if you look around there are dozens of camping websites that will have them for similar prices. £35-40 is about what you should expect to pay and I would be suspicious of anything much cheaper.
As for using them, well many campsites are providing electric hook ups now for only a few pounds more a night so it makes sense. Remember not to overload your sockets though. If you take the wattage of your appliance and divide by 230 this gives you the amps. Most sites are 10 or 16amps - Haven usually 16 - it will say on the box your lead plugs into. So a 2000w fan heater uses nearly 9 amps and you need to be careful not to plug in anything else at the same time if you are on a 10 amp supply or you will trip the electrics.
Have a great time camping!0 -

Good idea, I always take our little single burner gas stove with us even if we have electric. If you want to just boil the kettle while you are using something else on the electric hook up its very handy. Also good for a backup if the electric failed for some reason!0
