Egg to Virgin

currently have egg credit card and have used up the limit.£750. As you well know you can transfer money straight from ya egg card to your current account. I need to raise a little more cash for a while so have got a virgin cc on the way. Now so I am not charged, is it easy enough for me to transfer the egg balance to the virgin card(£2000 limit) so then I can again transfer money from my egg card to my current account with no fee.....hope this makes sense!

Yes!

Phone Virgin and ask them to transfer £2k or however much they will let you (the exact %age seems to depend on which way the wind is blowing) and when the £ arrives at Egg transfer it to your current ac.

If you already have a user ID and password yes... but you might get charged a fee. All MBNA cards including Virgin are changing their T&Cs. I dont think even their staff know what they are supposed to be :rolleyes:
If it looks as though you will be charged phone them up and haggle.
