I emailed them and said that as they seem to be faulty can I return them for free....answer = no! They said can return to store for free, but nearest to me is 20 miles away!

I would ring them and make them aware that there is clearly a design fault with the shoes, if they are faulty they should pay for the return postage. So many people with shoes that do not fit has to be a design fault I would have said. Make it clear that there are lots of you with the same issue with the shoes.

And if they still say no, tell them you will be contacting Trading Standards about where you stand on the matter. If you all call, they will have to accept there is a design fault rather than them not just fitting. If there is an issue with how these fit then they should not this in the info.

Just returned my two pairs to one of their branches today.

I noted that they are selling exactly the same sandals in store at full price (£14)! How strange!?

The store assistants were rather surprised to see that I had got them so cheap online .... I pointed out the fact that there must be a design fault as my daughter is an E fitting and cannot get into them at all! They agreed but said they had never heard about this problem before ....

Oh well, at least they refunded my money. :o
