Electoral roll not on credit report / nightmare address

My electoral roll status still doesn't appear on my Noddle credit report, despite having registered early Feb and receiving a letter from the council later that month.
The problem is likely mostly to do with my address, no-one (not even my letting agent) seems to be able to get it right. Letting agent thinks its flat 1/1, 56B, some letters are addressed to Flat B, 56 others to 56B, then B56, etc etc etc.
I was always under the impression it was flat 1/1 56B, managed to get a Vanquis card and Phone contract under that and post comes to me if I use that address.
My polling cards though say "Flat B, 56 streetname" but when I put that in to the barclays application checker to see what it would come up with, it says address not recognised.
There's nothing wrong with my credit history, and I don't particularly want or need credit right now, but as there seems to be no standard to my address, it's likely I'll get refused for most forms of prime credit in the future. Even my own bank doesn't want to know because the initial credit check immediately bounces.
Is this one for the council to sort or should I phone the CRAs and have them enter variations of my address (which could take a while :rotfl:) until the electoral roll status shows up?
This isn't the only problem I've had either, several companies I phoned for broadband quotes have categorically told me my address doesn't exist

The official address is whatever the post office have, look on their website.0

The official address is determined by your Local Authority. You'll need to check with them. The Royal Mail address file can then be amended if it's incorrect.0

How does your address appear on the Royal Mail website?
If you think its incorrect you could contact Royal Mail:
