Strong resin / plastic garden chairs?

My father is looking for some new graden chairs as his have "become brittle and broken."

Or he sat on them once too often, I think!

He's rather a large chap and so they need to withstand a decent amount of weight.

I suggested metal framed ones but he likes the plastic chairs more.

Has anyone seen any very strong ones anywhere please?

Don't know how strong they where but I saw some quiet basic ones is Tesco's last night for £4.??. Just seamed like a bargain to me but i was in a rush so I need not see the quality.

Thanks BJV, but he would probably go through a set of those in a week!

We saw some on hliday recently that were fantastic - instead of just thin plastic they were sort of double thickness and molded so they were hollow inside - sorry that's the world's worst description!

why not got round the charity shops and auctions and look for cheap wooden rocking chairs, then every few years replace them
