starting temp work - what about jsa?

afternoon,
just found out im starting work on monday but its only temporary agency work, they said it should last 2 weeks but cant say what after that. what should i do about my jsa?
im worried that if i tell them i've got job and it finish after 2 weeks i will be without any money.

After you have completed the first days work and decided you want to stay then sign off on Tuesday by contacting the jobcentre. The number is in your signing on book. You will probably have to send the book back in the post. Once you have completed the 2 weeks then sign back on again. A rapid reclaim will occur and you won't have to wait again for payment but it will still be 2 weeks in arrears so it'll be another 2 weeks before you are paid.kate.northampton wrote: »afternoon,
