UK Travel Insurance with Insure and Go

Hi everyone,
My family and I are flying to Northern Ireland from England in June for a weekend and I need to sort out some basic travel insurance.
I've done some quotes on the various comparison sites and it's coming up at about £2.50 for the 3 of us (2 adults and 1 toddler). The most appropriate quote for us is Insure and Go Light Premium.
However if I go to the Insure and Go website and do a quote, the cost is alot more (about £4 a person) and also the levels of cover are budget, bronze, silver and gold - which appears to be completely different from the comparison sites which is light economy, light economy plus or light premium.
Does anyone know why there's such a discrepancy over price and cover name?
Thanks

Some insurers have products explicitly designed for distribution via aggregators. Typically as aggregator shoppers are more price sensitive they are cheaper but may have cover levels cut to enable the insurer to get the prices down0
