Hello Money savers!
I'm shopping around for new car insurance, I've found a much better deal with the RAC, the price is cheaper than my current quote and add the use of topcashback it gets cheaper by another 70 quid!
There is the option to pay for no claim bonus protection, I have 8 years, its another 80 quid is it worth the extra cash???

Ultimately insurers make a profit on what they sell but of cause. On average therefore you will be worse off having it than not but you'll be undoubtably be annoyed if some yob keys your car and so your 8 years NCD goes down to 3 years due to the claim.
For me the cost difference if I were to claim doesnt stack up to justify the premium but the majority of people do buy it0 -
I am in the fortunate position I have a very good mechanic who is linked to a main dealership thus I can put a higher excess since any work I get done is a dash sight cheaper. My current quote is just a couple of hundred quid!0

A 'protected no claims bonus' has become a feature on several motor insurance policies and motorhome insurance isn't any completely different during this respect. it always involves alittle further on your premium to preserve the discount you've got earned over many years of claim free motoring. however is it price adding this onto the value of insuring your motorhome?0
