Nationwide Credit Card Quotation

My latest Noddle report suggested I had a high chance of being accepted for Barclaycard Initial, Barclaycard Platinum and Nationwide Select.
I am 12 months into using sub prime cards which have all been paid in full every month and all had limit increases. I also have current account with £200 overdraft facility, which I have never used and a mobile phone contract.
The Nationwide select have quoted me 15.9% APR with a £500 limit. Has anyone else had this sort of quote and then gone on to a successful application?
I don't want to leave a search unless I think I stand a decent chance of being accepted. This would be good to if I could get it and then get rid of one of the sub prime cards.

I applied a few days ago for the Nationwide cc and the quote was
15.9% and CL £4000.
However someone posted on here if the quote was something like 19.9% and cl £500 this would normally lead to a decline.
With me I went ahead with the full search and said the cc was agreed in principle subject to final checks.0 -
If nationwide quoted you £500 limit then will probably be declined if you go ahead.
Why do you not try the pre-application check on Barclaycard website. I would not trust a site like noddle...they are telling you that you've got high chance to be accepted for Barclaycard initial with a 30% interest but as well for their platinum card!! Does not make sense....0 -

I don't see why Barclays pre-application check will be any more accurate than Nationwides?
Or are you saying people getting £500 limits normally get declined? The consensus that I've personally seen normally say 19.9% and £500 is a decline, haven't seen 15.9% and £500 being declined yet (not that I'm particularly paying much interest in it so I could well be wrong!).0 -
Personally I would never risk a full search for £500....what's the point. Am not saying that Barclaycard pre-application check is any better but at least they'll certainly have more personal information to assess his application compare to noddle...0

Do all nationwide cards have a soft search app first?0

I might sound really anal here, but can we not keep the Nationwide stuff to the single thread?

People are repeating the same info over and over again and it's all in there.0
