Tobin tax good for UK

Don't understand why us Brits don't embrace the Tobin tax. After all all Europeans pay tax don't they?????
Of course we should also support other unbiased taxes for example.
Consuming frankfurter and sauerkraut tax
(Although I think the "wining on penalty shootouts" tax needs to be reviewed
