Hi
Sorry, if it's a duplicate question. I am looking to replace asbestos roof with epdm ( 3mx5m). I got a quote for asbestos removal. for the new roof thought of buying epdm roof material and get a roofer to install the roof. what's would be approx charge for the roofer to install the epdm? I will get a few quotes from the local roofer. Any advise on the epdm supplier to buy the material?
I found a few on the internet like, permaroofstore, rubba-seal
Regards, Moor

You may find most roofers are reluctant to operate like that, they will want to supply and fit, not supply only.
The cynical side says that's so they can profit from the materials?, maybe, but it can get complicted if there are problems or damages and it's best left to the roofer/fitter to use what he knows best.
But getting quotes and prices to show the chap you use that you actually know the material costs should keep things "real".
(advice from an ardent diyer, not a roofer)I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
Last summer I fitted an EPDM roof to an 8ft x 6ft shed with an apex roof.
It was very easy and straightforward.
If you have easy access to the roof, have some basic DIY skills and are comfortable working at a height, why not fit it yourself?
I bought the EPDM sheet and the adhesive on line for about £80. It was delivered within a few days.0
