Victorian Entrance Vestibule Suggestions

Hello,
Looking for inspiration. Had hoped to get Victorian concentric tiles for the entrance vestibule for my house but at £700 pre fitting for an area 1.7mx1.7m I am unconvinced on the value for money, though I appreciate it would look very good.
Does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives or examples of what they have done?
THe £700 was from an internet based company who provide the tiles pre-cut and attached to a sheet for ease of fitting.
Thank you.

have you a photo?
TBH 'precut' and 'attached to a sheet for ease of fitting' rings alarm bells for me. My house is newer than that and not a straight wall/level floor to be seen (all slightly off) - I would want a tiler in doing the job properly, especially if they are going to be walked on.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Well, it depends.
You would never have to buy another carpet. I don't know how old you are, but you would be able to bring in a pushchair in the rain. It would give your house a "wow" factor when you come to sell.
On the other hand, £700 plus fitting is a lot of money, and if you chose good quality black and whites in a chequerboard pattern instead, nobody would know you'd ever been tempted by something more expensiveimport this0
