Buildings and contents separately - Quidco?

Hi, I'm in the process of looking for new home insurance quotes after Barclays sent me their renewal of £700:eek: (they price matched last year and gave me £50!).
Now my question is - I've been looking at Lloyds TSB with £120 Quidco cashback- £318 buildings and contents (a bit less than £700!), £213 buildings and £105 contents. I've read on here that it is possible to buy buildings and contents separately and claim £120 for each transaction - is this still working or are the companies wise to it ? (after reading the Zurich thread), and if I do go down this route - do I have to buy them through the same insurer or can you buy buildings and contents from different companies? (so they don't get wise to the Quidco cashback)

Hi,
I have just bought my contents via Barclays and then my buildings via TSB. It will cost about £56 for the year for me, but only if the cashback works. I also use Quidco assuming the worse and if I get the money its a bonus. So far Ihavenot had any problems on a major purchase.
I also clear my cookies and temporary internet files before buying.
One thing to watch is the extra hassle if you even need to claim. You will have to deal with 2 companies and pay 2 excesses if you claim on both policies.
