Stocks and Shares... A quick question..

Hi guys and girls,
I'm New here starting, to read up and explore the world of stock trading.
My question is this
Taking as a random share... RDSA (shell)
If the price of the share is 2,130.00 Is that price per share in pence?
So the actual price I am paying is £21.30 PER SHARE.
Or would I be paying £2130.00 per share?
I am getting a little confused! but am pretty sure I am right with my first assumption.
So another quick :
the price of RDSA as it stands now is Share Price: 2,013.00 - If I had £2013.00 to invest I would be able to buy 100 shares in RDSA.
ith a £10,000 investment, just for arguments sake.
Thanks.

Price is in pence, so £21.30 a share.
You would need £2,130 to buy 100 shares. (not £2,013...) but yes you would be able to buy 100 shares if you had £10,000.0 -

I dont understand your second question0 -
Basically
the price of this share :
google.co. uk/finance?client=ob&q= LON:RDSA
1,986.31
I am not allowed to link due to being a noobey, but the price would be £19.86 per share.. give or take a few pence. is that correct?
Thanks

Yes that is correct.
When you trade you usually say how much you want to buy and you have 15s to confirm the trade and how much it will cost.0 -
thats great thanks for all the help folks! I thought I was right with my assumption until a friend questioned me and said was nearly 2k per share haha
thanks0 -
Strange - Google's last trade price seems way out.
LSE, yahoo, iii etc are quoting 2013p
