what ae you replacing?
if there is space for a crt they come up on freecycle,
occational small LCD's come up as well.
if it just goto sleep/wake up TV at the end/sbove the bed there will be plenty in budget, check the sound out from the viewing distance.
if going LCD wall mount think about something bigger0
