    The worst case scenario would be they void your policy (eg. if they feel you deliberately withheld this, or they would never have covered you had they known).

    THis would mean they honour any (agreed) claim from the third party, but turn their sights on you to reimburse them their outlay. (They wouldn't pay any of your damage, though you could claim off the third party for their liable amount of your repairs).

    Hopefully they won't take a hard line, and you end up paying them any under payment of premium you owe them.

    They may even cancel your insurance which will open up another can of worms when you want any other kind of insurance.

    Not that sure it is, their letter about the 50/50 intention; does it actually ask you to do anything?

    Are you thinking it's probably worthwhile claiming for your own damage because of this?

    It's probably unlikely they'd void for one SP conviction.

    Probably looking at an increased premium, backdated.
