Selling my car -first time for me..help

I have no idea how to sell my car.

Where do I start...where do I advertise ? It is currently sworn because I can't afford the costs. Should I wait for a buyer before I get the service, mot, tax and insurance sorted?

The 'webuyanycar' website values it for a measly £2400! Similar cars are priced at £4500.

    Do keep up :)

I had to read twice also :)

    Ebay, Autotrader, Local FreeAds

Just watch out for the scammers. Cash on collection only. Have someone with you who can count and check the cash.

Or bank/building society check drawn with you present.

SWORN may be more appropriate from some posters on here after dealing with the DVLA :)

The we buy your car for scrap value sites are there to take advantage of people that dont want to sell their cars privately.

    Prices will always be low.

They dont know what they are buying also, So need to budget that into the price.

Minimum auction prices less any costs of checking the car over and taking it to auction if its not upto standard etc.

Just keep the thing and wear it into the ground, then sell it to the breakers yard when it really is totally not worth keeping any more

eBay, Piston Heads, Auto Trader, GumTree are worth a try.

Cash only too, if they want to take it for a test drive, make sure they have copies of their driving license and insurance.

If your worried about fake notes, take them to a bank and get them to pay it in then.
What is pi? Where did it come from?

you have to ask yourself why this is
i think because your car is probably unwanted by the buying public due to many reasons

but all to do with money

maybe if you had given more detail on your jalopy some wise soul could offer more advise
remember if you have a turd car you cant polish it to a jewel

ps ignore beemerboy as he is spamming, any good site wouldnt need poor shots like this to sell their ideas, its so sad just like his post

But you have posted this three times now, it is clearly spamming and has been reported.
