If you are ringing the bank (I assume you aren't into Online banking), ask them if there are any pending transactions.0
-
Total scam, don't give them a penny and don't apply to anyone but repuatable lenders.
Your bad credit history will, I'm sorry to say, mean you won't be able to get a loan of any kind that would be viable."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -
If all they have is the information that you would find on a cheque book (i.e. name of account holder, account number, branch address and sort code) then you SHOULD be OK. Try not to panic, but do be aware that you should never, ever, pay any sort of up front 'fee' to a lender or broker. Decent ones won't ask for it as they make their money through commission and interest.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

I can't believe anyone would deal with a company called forty eight hour finance, ten second finance, now that's a different matter, where do I sign.0

My bankruptcy was forced upon me as my ex left me in huge debt in joint names. My circumstances have now totally changed and my finances are (or seem to be) stable. I only applied for a small loan to pay for workmen to construct a ramp for my wheelchair into the garden. I never intend to fall into huge debt again.
Every bankrupt has a good reason behind that is not their fault. Further, every bankrupt has an excellent reason for getting more credit.0 -
I would say a good percentage of bankrupty members who come on here would not tell the whole truth why they went bankrupt, with bankrupts it's not normally their fault according to them.
It's always an Ex wife or Girlfriend is the best excuse and of course their are genuine ones but they are very rare.
I think in the courts they should set out different rules like someone who generally had no choice and legit through divorce etc should be 5 years with a trashed credit report & for the bankrupts who continued to spend the banks money on credit cards & loans knowing full well they couldnt pay it back should be 15 years with a trashed file.0 -
