SECTION 75 - Claiming from CC Company

I am having a dispute with an car engine supplier who has provided me with two faulty engines which I paid for on my Barclaycard. I am trying to claim consequential losses from them but am getting nowhere. I want to repair the second faulty engine as my mechanics are 99% sure that it only requires a cylinder head gasket thats fitted correctly. Therefore I dont want to claim for the value of the engine as I will still have that once they get it working. Can I just claim consequential losses from the Credit Card Company??

Section 75 makes the CC Co equally responsible for the contract.
So if the seller is responsible for consequential losses, so is the CC Co.
MSE's Section 75 Refund article may help.0
