  • Hi

    I got brown paper from Wilkinson's yesterday, 6m x 500mm for 69p - superb value.

I've heard you can get free bubble wrap from supermarkets (fruit and veg section) - have never tried this myself. But if you want loads, I think you would be better off talking to one of the staff and see if they keep a pile out the back ready to throw away - they may decide that they are helping the environment if they give it to you.

ebay is poss the cheapest place to buy bulk packaging for the average larger user.
    Get some gorm.
  • If you have a local pound shop they're usually quite good. Mine does 30cm x 5m of bubble wrap (£1) and 10 jiffys (average size) (£1). Also double packs of parcel tape (50m) for, you've guessed it, £1.

I got a huge roll (and I mean HUGE) of bubble wrap from Do It All garden centre (use it for insulating greenhouses) It cost a tenner.
And the best brown paper I have found was at W H Smith, really thick roll for £1.50 (bigger than the ones a Wlkinsons by far.)

    Hi,
I get my bubble wrap from the supermarket - from the fruit and veg sections where there are empty boxes. I also use really thick plastic carrier bags, turned inside out and cut to size and use them instead of buying ready made plastic bags for posting. They're free, it's recycling and your parcel stays dry!
