Thanks in advance, Paul.

If you are new then getting a card can be a challenge even with your own bank.

Remember most cards carry a per card fee and almost (or none) of the perks that a personal lines card does. Most of the benefits of these types of things tend to be more aimed at large corporations and simplifying reconciliations etc

I have business banking for my Ltd Co with HSBC, and I was able to apply for a business credit card at the same time that I set up the bank account. The business card has no fees, and has monthly interest just like any other card - although in the case of my business card I do try to keep it paid off in full each month. I am able to view the credit card along side my current and saving accounts, all on one balance summary screen on the online banking site, which is great. The card has my full name and also the business name on it, which means I can use it for purchases in the name of my business and also purchases in my name, which is also convenient. I have only one employee, myself - so I only needed one card - but it seems like it is very straightforward if I needed to set up cards for additional employees. The minimum payment is already set up to be paid via direct debit - I believe this may have been a requirement actually. Have not had any problems with this HSBC card and would recommend it - presumably you need HSBC banking to get it though.
