Yeah I agree with that. there is some stickyness with Facebook in the fact that there is nothing drastically different on offer. But also there are a lot of people on there who wouldn't want to change to something new (my mum for example).Radiantsoul wrote: »The barriers are as much social as technological. Facebook is not just a tool of the young though.
A new site would need to offer quite a lot to beat it. There are of course other social network sites - twitter and pinterest, but Facebook is better monetised and offers far more services.
Facebooks greatest weakness is in the mobile arena, it is possible it could be leapfrogged.0
