Quality conveyancing, anyone heard of or used?

I've just had a quote from an online company based in Ealing west London. It is by far the cheapest I've had to date, but as I do believe a lot in the you get what you pay for saying, I'd be really wary of going with an unknown outfit without any reviews or recommendations.

So I thought I'd ask here first to see if anybody has used them or knows anyone else who has.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

I used Photiades in St Albans, Karen Baldwin dealt with my purchase. Cheapest in area and excellent service. I recommend them

Online conveyancers often get a bad press for a number of reasons:
    - you don't get an actual conveyancer for much of the transaction
    - you don't get the same person dealing with your file, so no continuity of oversight, particularly important if there are complex issues
    - it's practically impossible to speak to an actual person if you have queries
    - their quotes often contain lots of hidden things when you look at the small print.

The Law Society has developed a voluntary accreditation scheme called CQS - Conveyanving Quality Scheme. I doubt that this is what your online company is referring to, but if it is, then there is some guarantee of decent service.
