Threatened with Legal Proceedings

Hi,
I have a Co-op bank debt of 6,500 and have missed 2 payments and now they are threatening legal procedings. I am making full payments again and paying £20 extra above the contractual monthly payment. Is this not heavy handed from them? I'm making every effort to repay the debt and its a real struggle as I'm self-employed witha business thats not doing great.
Thanks

Hello there, the best thing you can do really is speak to them.
Court action is going to get them absolutely nowhere, if it went to court they would be laughed out of it when you are now overpaying to catch up.
Give them a ring and sort it. Good luckmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
