I have decided to make my own compost.

Any tips on the best way to do this please?

What sort of composter (I have a lot of room) what should I do and what should I not do?

Thanks.

Do not put cooked food like meat etc into it or you will get rats. You may get rats anyway, just be aware of them & use poison

Try & get a mix of green / grass clippings, prunings etc & brown, like shredded paper bills, old newspaper, receipts

Add a litre or two of urine once a month
