Apologies for not replying to these very informative posts, of which I will share with my work colleagues. The vehicle is a 2008 Ford focus titanium 1.6 worth 7,200. This is the age of impersonal banking and money... Who needs insurance salesmen when a meerkat or an opera singer can do it for you? The problem is that more and more people are taking out different vehicle purchases. For example, Salary sacrifice, and Peugeot introducing their lease scheme (which is going to be popular with other manufacturers), more and more people will fall into the bracket of 0 years no claims. If I get no joy I may go into a salary sacrifice scheme and pay for a nice new car again... I would gladly pay to not have to worry with tax, insurance and maintenence costs. I had a nice 4 year run but c'est la vie. NFU wouldn't entertain me by the way. Lol
