Just make sure your wife will like it! My husband bought me a set in Dubai. What the hell was he thinkin? Not to my taste at all.

Please tell me she's had some input.

I believe that she will, and as I say it is classic french design so fairly safe. I want it to be something that wont go out of fashion hence going for it rather than something more trendy.

Would certainly allow her to make her own choices for the dubai designed items as clearly they are more an acquired taste for those with western backgrounds

Not "ethnic" designs. I'd have loved some of the gold work. It's a set of matched black pearls, necklace, earrings, and bracelet. Beautifully presented.

I think I've worn it once in four years.

He thinks it was the bestest present ever! Unfortunately his dress code, won't allow for him to get his ears pierced and wear the stuff.
