When they pay via Paypal, ensure you only send to a Verified address0

No problem, just not with Paypal. Ask for PO or bank transfer.0

If your dealing with Japanese they can't get their paypal accounts verfified full stop (only US & UK paypal members can do this).
If the guy only wants to pay with paypal he can add his friend in Bristol's address to his paypal account and select that address when sending you the payment but this wouldn't be verified either.
The ideal solution would be to do as Hintza says and get the guy in Bristol to do a bank trnasfer or send a postal order. Or if the guy in Bristol has a verified paypal account get him make the paypal payment instead make sure you send via a trackable method.
Or you could just trust the Japanese guy. If he has been a member for a good while and has plenty of positive feedback personally I'd be inclined to trust him fraud is very rare in Japan.
It's not uncommon for SE asian ebay buyers / traders in vintage clothing to set there feedback to private in fact it's pretty much common practice (they don't want their competitors knowing what they are buying).
The other thing is if it's a heavy flying jacket (Irvin etc) it's likely to be over 2kg so you won't be able to ship internationally via royal mail (2kg is there limit).
Your Japanese guy may well be aware of this and buys up lots of items from UK sellers and then gets his friend to ship a big parcel via a courier service every month or so. I've dealt with SE Asian buyers who operate this way.
But if you don't want the hassle you could simply 2nd chance offer the underbidder (if he's UK based) if he goes for it then file a non payment thingy to get your fees back giving your reason as buyer is from a country I don't ship to.0 -
i have just told the guy i wont accept paypal for the reasons above.
while sending him this message i get an instant payment message from paypal to say he has paid but i never sent him an invoice.
now what.
this is giving me an headache.  s

i sold a formula 1 alloy wheel on ebay a while ago, i stated uk only but someone from norway purchased it, they asked me to send to someone in didcot, oxfordshire. they paid, i sent it where they wanted and everything was fine.
i think it then had a tyre fitted to it and the buyer sold it on for a profit0 -
Do a refund from Paypal (refund button is at the bottom of the paypal page) and again state that you want paying by other means.
He's already broken the rules of your agreement, by being outside of the UK. Doesn't matter where he wants it sent, HE'S not in the UK.Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
I would like to be lucky,healthy & happy in 2020! :T0 -
Why not send it specila delivery? He has paid, how is his feedback and what was the price?? What is likely to happen? I have lots of buyers who ask it to be sent elsewhere and I always do, without a problem. you should be able to see the % of his feedback, if not or you are not sure then refund him and sk for payment by another means or get him to ask the person receiving it to send the money - preferably by Bank Transfer or Postal Order.
There is a refund payment link at the bottom of the page of the payment (within your eBya account - simply click on this).0
