Wonder if anyone can offer any advice please? I'm picking two friends up at Birmingham International tomorrow night (10-00 pm).
I've never been to Birmingham Int before (live in the north west) but a quick look at the parking options at the airport seems to suggest that it's going to cost about £20 to park up just for a couple of hours!
Anyone know if that's correct and if so any way of reducing the cost please?

The normal short/medium stay car parks at Birmingham airport are £3.50 for one hour, £7 for 2 hours. This is the normal park and pay charge. Very easy to find as well, follow the signs for the airport, then the signs for short/medium stay and drop-off. Stay in the right-hand lane and this will take you straight to the short-medium stay car park opposite the on-site Ibis hotel. From there its only a couple of minutes walk to the terminal building.0

Park at International Train Station > free for up to 20 mins > get them to text you when they have cleared customs. Use (free) train to get over to airport (takes all of one minute) ~ used to be called 'Maglev' - meet them in arrivals. If you want longer than 20 mins still use train station but park in 'normal' car park - costs £5 all day if after 10.00 am. Remember to sort ticket out in train station before you walk back to car. IMO steer clear of airport - car parking expensive.0
