Making the most of stair walls

Hello my stairway is typical of a terraced house and I just wondered does anyone have or know of any storage solutions,cupboards and the like that they have to make the most of the stair walls Thank you

    Mine has had a couple of reincarnations as a Hi-Fi entertainment centre, then computer centre and now as a "peripherals" area where we keep the printer, scanner and record player(yes record player). We now us it for consumables that dont get used everyday, but need in a hurry when we do and shut away behind doors when we dont.

    I just got a piece of MDF and cut to shape (sort of table high) so that I have a useable worktop for the consumables and below this, a space for the hoover et al
    Life is short, don't spend all your time payng for it:rotfl:
