I was recommended them by a neighbour when my poor old dog stopped eating completely.
Sadly they made not the slightest bit of difference.0 -
To stop lawn burn? Personally I would stick to a watering can kept near the door to dilute/rinse any urine as and when the dog wees, worked for my mum when she had the problem with her rescue dog. Mine kill more grass with their chasing antics than their urine but I'm past the point of caring - artificial turf is being debated for the future!
With training, you can teach dogs to toilet in a specific area, which could then be paved or covered with gravel etc. to save the lawn.0 -
Have done the watering can trick which is slightly effective when you know where you dog has been. I was going to use dog rocks as well as the watering can.0

Hi,
We sell them at work and people come back again to buy more when the old ones are finished, never heard anything negative about them.0 -

Having two lady Retrievers we tried Dog Rocks for nearly a year and they DID NOT WORK.
Now in 2012 with such a wet summer there haven't been any brown patches so you wouldn't notice if they worked or not.
Don't waste your money, the grass will regrow and fairly quickly too if you don't cut it too short and keep it well watered. The extra on a metered water supply will be less than the Dog Rocks cost!0 -
We tried then with TJ lol he took them out of the bowl and gave me that look lol. We solved the problem though. Astro turf, best thing we ever did.
No cutting, dog friendly, and looks as good today as it did when it was put down nearly 5 years ago.xRIP TJ. You my be gone, but never forgotten. Always in our hearts xxxHe is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.0
