Hello Ladies & Gents :)

I am getting married on August 2nd, I have a bespoke dress ordered from a Chinese supplier, the design cobbled together from 2 dresses and communicated by photos & simple English ... I am pretty concerned that it may be awful/unwearable. I have told them I need it by July 2nd so I will have 1 month to find another dress!

I'm 40, a big lady (size 22 ish) and looking for a tea-length kind of frock in a pale pink, with sleeves and not too frilly - vintage-ish is cool though. I plan to wear flat shoes, have a small net birdcage veil & some simple home-tied flowers.

Any idea of where/how I could look for a back-up dress? Forgot to say I haven some disability & don't drive so huge trips and ages standing up trying on can be a bit difficult (but not impossible)

Any creative/knowledgeable people in the wedding dress business know of good sources?

My nearest big town in Yeovil in Somerset.

Thank you Thank you Thank you :)

edit: This is a pic of the kind of dress I have on order, just in a pearl pink with a button back: 15yyfdd.jpg
